Som en del af ligaens 25-års jubilæum, afslørede WNBA og Nike torsdag nye spillertrøjer for alle tolv hold til den kommende sæson.
Nike-kollektionen tilføjer en længe ventet tredje trøje (Rebel Edition) til holdenes Heroine Edition (hjemme) og Explorer Edition (ude) uniformer.
De nye spilletrøjer er kreative og mere specielle, da tidligere uniformer fulgte en skabelon, hvor kun farverne, logoer og sponsorater adskilte dem. Uniformerne i 2021 har unikke skrifttyper, mønstre og symboler.
Spillernummer er vendt tilbage til fronten af trøjen, og for første gang siden 2015 er hvide trøjer tilbage i WNBA.
Rebel Edition og Explorer Edition-spillertrøjerne vil være til salg fra d. 14. april på Nike og holdenes hjemmesider.
