Ja Morant vinder prisen som årets Most Improved Player

Kort efter midnat natten til tirsdag annoncerede NBA, at Ja Morant har vundet titlen som årets Most Improved Player. Det gjorde han foran spillere som Dejounte Murray, Darius Garland, Jordan Poole og holdkammerat Desmond Bane.

Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant er i denne sæson gået fra stjerne til superstjerne. Afgangen af big man Jonas Valanciunas i sommers åbnede for en masse plads til Morant, som er gået fra at score 19,1 points pr kamp i sidste sæson til hele 27,4 points pr kamp i denne. Ja Morant fik også sin første All-Star optræden, og bragte sit hold ind i slutspillet! Han bliver formentlig også All-NBA spiller. Fantastisk præstation af den højtflyvende guard.
